Weingut Haider – Eiswein 0,375l, 2018
Rich and full-bodied, but with fresh undertones that balance the sweet character. The long finish leaves notes of honey, citrus and soft notes.
The natural acidity and high sugar content meld into an elegant harmony, characteristic of a well-made Eiswein.
The wine opens with a delicate bouquet of frozen grapes, enriched with icy notes of yellow fruit such as ripe yellow apples, subtle citrus zest and a hint of honey.
On the palate, the wine is silky and concentrated, with a perfect balance of rich sweetness and lively acidity. This creates a refreshing, non-overpowering sweetness.
Subtle hints of nuts, such as almond or hazelnut, add a balsamic dimension to the flavour, adding depth to the wine.

Soil: Humus-rich brown earth / clay soil Alcohol: 11.0 % vol.
Harvest: Hand-picked, end of November at -9 degrees
Vinification: Frozen grapes carefully pressed with straw. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, no additives or fining. Contains sulphites.
Not available every year due to the complex process, therefore only a small stock.
